United Energy Trading Certified Under the Green-e® Marketplace Program for 100% Renewable Energy Commitment
United Energy Trading (UET) LLC, a fully integrated energy services company with offices and operations across North America, has been certified under the Green-e® Marketplace program for its commitment to power 100% of its facilities with renewable electricity. UET is also a retailer of Green-e® certified carbon offsets and certified renewable energy certificates (RECs) through DBAs including Callective Energy, Kratos Gas & Power, Uncle Frank Energy Services, and United Green Energy. UET is the first seller of Green-e® certified products to also commit to certifying its 100% renewable energy commitment for its own operations through the Green-e® Marketplace program.

The renewable electricity purchased by UET is sourced from RECs generated by wind farms throughout the U.S. By powering its operations with renewable energy, UET is taking real action to reduce the impact of its energy use. Electricity generated from renewable sources results in less environmental waste and pollution and displaces other non-renewable sources from the electric grid. The company’s purchase of electricity created from emissions-free renewable sources avoids carbon dioxide and other pollutants and serves to build the market for renewable energy nationwide, increasing incentives for developing new facilities.
