Alex Pennock

Senior Director, Certification Programs

Alex is the Senior Director of Certification Programs at the Center for Resource Solutions, where he oversees operations, policy development, and verification for the Green-e® certification programs. With over 18 years of experience in renewable energy markets, carbon accounting, and environmental policy, he has contributed to international certification standards, tracking system policies, and industry best practices. He has also written on building sustainability and served as a LEED Technical Advisory Group member. Alex holds a Master of Environmental Management from the Yale School of the Environment and a B.A. in Chinese Language and Literature from Dartmouth College.
