Growing Renewable Energy Globally Through Voluntary Markets

Monday, December 12, 2016 at 9:00 AM—10:30 AM PST

If we are to transition to a sustainable economy there is a strong need to accelerate the global deployment of renewable energy. This joint webinar with Green Growth Knowledge Platform (GGKP), a global network of international organizations and experts that identifies and addresses major knowledge gaps in green growth theory and practice, will highlight how global voluntary markets can play a key role in addressing this issue. CRS Executive Director Jennifer Martin will present a Toolkit for Supporting Voluntary Markets, and provide an overview of the key elements to creating effective and robust voluntary renewable energy markets.

Join CRS and GGKP for a free webinar exploring these themes. The webinar will also cover: renewable energy attributes, tracking systems, certification and additional policy mechanisms, while demonstrating how these tools can facilitate the growth of the voluntary renewable energy product types and procurement options.
