Storing the Future: How Utility-Scale Storage is Unlocking the Clean Energy Transition

CRS + NERA | Tuesday, September 22, 2026 | 10:00 am – 12:30 pm | Midtown, New York City

Utility-scale clean energy storage is essential to a reliable and affordable grid, but widespread adoption will take more than proven technology. Stored clean energy needs market confidence: credible accounting, clear claims, tracking systems, and policy signals that reward the value storage provides. CRS is moderating a seminar at Climate Week NYC to dive deeper into the topic. This seminar will cover the state of utility-scale clean energy storage markets. By attending, you will be joining hyperscalers, utilities, corporates with upcoming accounting requirements, and members of the energy storage value chain to explore how utility-scale storage is unlocking the clean energy transition.

Unlocking Value Chain Decarbonization with Market-Based Instruments

CRS + STX | Tuesday, September 22, 2026 | 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm | Midtown, New York City

As companies look beyond their own operations to reduce emissions, market-based instruments are emerging as a powerful tool to accelerate Scope 3 decarbonization.

Join STX Group and CRS during Climate Week NYC to discover how organizations can leverage environmental markets and value chain electricity strategies to drive credible climate action. Through expert insights and real-world corporate case studies, we will discuss practical approaches, evolving frameworks, and the role these solutions can play in helping businesses achieve their decarbonization goals.

The Next Frontier in Corporate Decarbonization: Clean Fuels Action and Accounting

CRS + ACT | Wednesday, September 23, 2026 | 8:00 am – 10:00 am | Midtown, New York City

As urgency increases for companies to tackle their Scope 1 emissions, many companies are already transitioning to clean fuels and related market based instruments. However, existing guidance from the Greenhouse Gas Protocol (GHG Protocol) does not fully address how the procurement and use of contractual instruments for clean fuels should be reflected in corporate GHG inventories. This event is for companies interested in clean fuels. It will be an opportunity to hear from corporate leaders that are integrating clean fuels into their operational strategies, accounting and reporting; clean fuel producers and learn more about the guidance developed by CRS’s Clean Energy Accounting Project (CEAP).
